Anniversary Fashion Show Re Cap
Woman’s Touch Apparel celebrated their third year anniversary on Sunday, December 6th at The Pressroom in downtown Phoenix. This show was dedicated to celebrating their accomplishments of 2015 along with benefiting The Sojourner Center, a women’s shelter for victims of domestic violence. The anniversary fashion show opened with a number of performances including a poet talking about the celebration of women, a vocal performance by Yasmeen singing “I will survive,” and lastly a dance performance choreographed by Jenzi Russell. The fashion show itself featured over 40 looks, showcasing designs from their first collection to the debut of their couture collection and the release of their very first childrens line!
Founder and Designer of Woman’s Touch Apparel, Jenesis Laforcarde expressed her thoughts on the outcome of the anniversary fashion show. “This was Woman’s Touch Apparel’s very first fashion show and my team and I put this on in just 30 days! I couldn’t be any more proud of us and how much we’ve grown.” Woman’s Touch Apparel had a very busy year, from doing New York Fashion Week then doing back-to-back shows in Los Angeles. “I knew we had to end the year with a bang,” Laforcarde said.
